Hello ,  Here at Holding the Hope, we know that you count on us to bring you current and accurate information.  That's why we only hire the best for our workshops.   Let me brag a bit about our June continuing education trainer, Ann Rider. You may know Ann from her work as an Intentional Peer Support trainer, or maybe she was the trainer at your CPC class in WA state.  However you know her, you know that Ann is a wealth of information with a confident accessible training style.  Here is what her bio says about her:

Inspired by her own recovery from trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges, Ann Rider made it her life's work to promote peer support. She wrote, taught and developed the first peer support training for Medicaid-funded peer support. Since that time she has written two other distinct peer support curricula and has taught and developed peer support training in multiple states and three countries. Over 17 years she has been the Executive Director of two peer-run mental health agencies in two states. After earning a Masters in Social Work, Ann taught in the graduate school of social work at Arizona State University. In her "retirement," she continues to write, teach, consult and advocate. She is currently the Board President of the National Association for Rights Protection and Advocacy.

On June 9, 2022 Ann will be teaching our Documentation for Medicaid Funded Peer Supporters workshop.  Register now and get the best training on documentation you can imagine.  Ann will teach you a step by step process and then help you practice to anchor your learning.
