Ethics & Boundaries in Peer Support is a dynamic, interactive workshop designed for Peer Support Counselors in any role. The content is largely based on the International Association of Peer Specialists document, National Ethical Guidelines and Practice Standards. Participants will come away with a clear understanding of the ethics, guidelines and boundaries that are essential to their profession.
Being a healer is hard. At Holding The Hope we want to help make it just a bit easier. We are creating a space for behavioral health staff to come together, get a little training and give a lot of support to each other. Below you will find our calendar for our 2021 annual Creating Recovery Lunch and Learn. Whether you work providing clinical support or peer support; whether you work in Alaska, Nebraska, New Hampshire or New Mexico,
there are universal issues we can all support each other around.
Bringing Hope to Every Interaction brings recovery principles and practical skills to reception, front office and other non-clinical staff while reminding more experienced clinical staff and Certified Peer Counselors of the basics in recovery principles. It is the perfect way to get staff and administration on the same page and working in a unified, collaborative way. The training runs 4 hours. and includes lecture and video on non-verbal communication and recovery
principles based on SAMHSA’s Guiding Principles of Recovery.
